If finding the perfect foundation has been a losing battle for you, read the rest of this post to find out why this foundation is IT!
COVER FX Total Cover Cream Foundation ($39) ain’t lying when it says total cover. This foundation really does cover just about anything. I have actually covered everything from bright red zits to dark under-eye circles with it.
At first touch, you’ll notice this foundation is very thick, like a concealer. But that’s not to say it feels heavy on the skin because it doesn’t. It blends and smooths onto the skin very easily and is light and weightless. It doesn’t at all feel like you have makeup on. The creamy, concealer-like texture is what makes it cover so well. It makes my skin look absolutely flawless and no one would ever guess what zits I’m hiding under there! Plus, it doesn’t give that horrible foundation look, in which everyone can see your makeup. This will remain invisible. It’s pretty amazing.
It also has SPF 30 protection, lasts all day and night, doesn’t get greasy as the day goes on, and doesn’t fade away either. It removes easily with makeup remover and feels extremely light on the skin. It comes in 28 different shades so you’ll most definitely be able to find the exact colour you need. Don’t be shy to ask a Sephora beauty expert to help you choose the perfect shade.
You’ll also notice in my photo a small tube of COVER FX Cream Concealer ($27). This product works in much the same way and achieves the same amazing results. I use this one when I only need to cover a small spot and don’t want to cover up my whole face. I just dab some loose powder over my face afterwards to blend and the concealer becomes invisible. Depending on how much coverage you’re in need of (for example, at an evening party where lots of photos will be taken), you can use both together and build the desired amount of coverage.
All in all, I’m a huge fan of COVER FX and definitely impressed with these new goodies. Have you ever tried these products? Are you going to now? Which foundations do you swear by?
