Spring 2013: Lise Watier’s Pastel Power Collection
This new collection from Lise Watier is limited edition so read on to see the products up-close and pick your faves before they’re gone for good.
Pastel Power showcases one of the hottest trends of the spring. I love pastels for a subtle, ultra-feminine look. My favourite item in this collection is definitely the Pastel Power Eyeshadow Quatuor ($36). Eyeshadow palettes are my Achille’s heel! With four silky shades to choose from, you can mix and match for tons of different combinations, anything from subtle to intense.
Pastel Power Illuminating Beads ($29) are another must for spring. With just a gentle swoosh of your blush brush, you can add instant shimmer to your skin. This really helps illuminate the skin, brighten your look and give your skin a younger, fresher appearance. (Hint: apply sparingly, ideally to the cheek bones only, for a subtle effect.) Pink Power Blush is another spring-friendly piece. It looks much darker in the case than it appears on the skin. It gives a really subtle, rosy glow. It’s so pretty and very chic.
For the lips, there are two amazing products you’ll fall for this spring. Rouge Plumpissimo Lipstick in Coral Punch ($21) is a soft shade that is understated but gorgeous. If you are into the glam look, you’ll love Power Kiss Gloss ($21). The shine is amazing! With pastels being so popular this year, don’t stop at the makeup. Finish off your fingertips with Nail Lacquer in Power Punch ($13). I know what you’re thinking…can I even do pastels? Trust me, this spring, you can!
